Symptoms of sinusitis in children, different from those in adults ( cough, nasal leaching) is one of the most important symptoms in children.
Cough:
It occurs during daylight hours, but it increases when the child lies on his back.
The nose work:
It may be a good one or a life. We may also see sore throat as a result of the reflux of nasal slates to the throat during sleep. Some of the signs we see on the child are sneezing and snoring.
Older children may suffer from heat, pain or near-pressure in the facial area, with bad breath, and decreased sense of smell.
How do we differentiate between normal colds and sinusitis in children.
Regular cold: A simple viral disease accompanied by heat, my nose and cough, and does not last more than one week to ten days.
If the symptoms persist, my nose is filtered with a cough - for more than a month, it is called subacute or chronic sinusitis.
Complications of sinusitis:
Otitis media
Soft tissue inflammation around the eye may lead to an eye abscess
Optic neuritis.
Meningitis is relatively rare.

Treatmentsinusitis:
Treatment should be effective to avoid complications and this is achieved under three conditions:
1. Choose the right antibiotic
2. Good dosage
3. Sufficient time

It is very important in cases of recurrence of sinus infections in children to rule out the presence of adenoid swell or chronic inflammation of the tonsils.
